Tonight is the night that The Fellowship of the Ring opens world-wide. It's been a long time since I've looked forward to the opening of a film this much. I can't remember the last time I saw a film on the opening night (perhaps it was The Return of the Jedi in 1983).
So a group of london.pmers are off to see it at the Streatham Odeon tonight. I've got my Rivendell.pm t-shirt on and 50 pages of the book to (re-)read before 7:15 this evening.
It's all jolly exciting.
