Curl

I'm sure that most of you have seen and used curl, the command line file transfer thingy.

I was wondering if we should make a collection of useful hints and tips on how to get the most out of curl. There must be little tricks that you all have on using it.

Then O'Reilly could publish them all in a book called The Curl Pookbook.

Just an idea...

Update: To be honest, I haven't used curl either. I always use LWP. It was just a stupid pun that occurred to me this morning.

Curl is easy to use. Google is also easy to use. There is a "google hacks" book which isn't very good. I therefore conclude that there is a gap in the market for a "curl hacks" book which is likewise not very good.

I haven't used curl, since wget and lynx have always been sufficient. Also, LWP.
