My ADSL line was activated when I got home on Friday and it only took a few minutes to get the airport talking to the ADSL router, so all the family now has access to the internet.
The wireless card that Linux didn't like, worked like a dream when put in my step-daughter's Windows box and I've now found a PCI wireless card that works under RH9 (it's a Netgear MA311GE if anyone else is interested). It's on order and should arrive be the end of the week.
I like it when hardware works.
