There's something rather pleasant about being in a somewhat difficult situation and managing to pull yourself out of it. After six months with no bank rights whatsoever I've finally gotten back to having access to my accounts again, yipeeeee!!! :-) Good thing there's no credit history here, too. Still another bank to settle with, and other tedious things such as the rent to get up to date with, but it's good to see things improving.
You might wonder how I managed to get to San Diego without having solved the above situation. Well, it was mostly thanks to Antoine and to O'Reilly which were both very kind to me.
