I got turned down for a job today. I wish I didn't need to look for one, but while writing translations for O'Reilly is fun, if I want to get out of debt fast I do need to work at least three months on a "normal" job that will make me enough money.
So while I'm a bit disappointed at the fact that I'll have to look elsewhere, at the same time I'm a bit relieved. Especially as the job was a promise of horror: using Java to produce SWF/Flash... the arch-fiend of a job.
