Francs will completely cease to be legal tender this evening at midnight, hour of Paris. Until today they were allowed at the same time as euros, but that's over. The switchover went really smoothly, despite a few tiny bumps that made bigger press than they ought to have been. I think pretty much no one uses francs anymore, at least I haven't seen any in ages.
Goodbye Francs! Rest in peace and may you never come back :)
