That's it, it's done, I've been assimilated.
The loops is complete. My first computer was an Apple ][e, one of those illegal non-Apple ones. Then follows a gap of ten years with no computer, several years with Linux or Winders on x86 boxen, and now it's back to the iBook.
First remark: it looks nothing like an Apple ][e. Apart from that it's very cool.
