I've now posted to the dev-list on opensrs.net. From what I can tell these are actual developers of the library, and other folks who read and understand the sources. I feel more positive about this approach than support only because support seems to not really know anything about the source code, or not much. They keep wanting me to run verify_install.cgi, but I don't use it, and I've read what it will do in this situation, the same thing my code does, croak with 'Unrecognized Peer'.
In other news, I seem to have accumulated a back injury. I don't know where that came from, but I wish it would move on.
In still other news, my baby is still talking giberish to us, but it's consistent giberish. This means that she's communicating, albeit not English, but who said that's a good language anyway? This morning my wife said she asked where I was, it sounded like "*garble* *garble* *garble* Dad?!"
