My daughter slept in her own room for the first time last night. It was her four month birthday and she is good enough at night that she doesn't need to be in the crib in our room anymore. She has her own room now.
With all that independence comes responsibility though, and today is shot day for her. She woke up this morning happy and bright eyed as usual, knowing nothing of her fate. Thankfully I don't have to be there, I couldn't bear the look on her face.
