Difficulties of game show hosting

So I'm hosting the "Whose code is it anyway?" BOF at OSCON this year. On the half hour TV show, they fill the show by playing just six games. I have got two hours to fill, and I don't have any commercial breaks.

This is difficult for several reasons. First, there are a limited number of games I can play with my contestants. As far as I know, they have no improvisational musical abilities, bringing props in luguage may give us problems at the airport, we have no AV equipment (green screens, televisions, etc). My creativity only goes so far, how many games can I come up with?

On the up side, I feel very optimistic. I've come up with a good way to brainstorm game ideas. I'm keeping a log of who, what, when, why, and where phrases. When it comes time to make up a game, I'll take a look at my options and pair them with my phrases.

This might yeild the game Standing, Sitting, Kneeling and the senario is "Damian, an english double agent is trying to seduce Allison with an impressive array of sayings in foreign languages, when Jon, Allisons husband and a spy for Australia discovers their rendezvous."

Or something like that. Hey, it's a work in progress.
