I cut the afternoon talk a bit short to get out on the deck. I figured I would be a truely sad cruiser if I didn't get outside and see what the ocean looked like.
From the top of the boat, it is very beautiful out here. I was hoping to see dolphins swimming along beside us but that wasn't happening.
I now know why, in the movie titanic, when they go to the front of the boat they stick their arms out, leaning forwad. They had no choice The wind is so hard that when if lets up suddenly you have to take a step forward to catch your balance. Fighting against it is tough.
And when I was going down the stairs toward the back of the boat, the wind almost threw me down them.
Word of advice: Do not go out on the front decks when you have been drinking.
