Version 1.6.0 of auth_ldap doesn't have built in support for static linking to apache. I can't use DSO this time around and I'm stuck between a rock, a hardplace, and my job that says I just need to get it done this way.
Downloaded the mailing list archives where the conversation on the subject says "It don't work." "I know, someday, tinker with it.".
I'm no expert but I've done a fair amount of tinkering and it's just plain frustrating to not get this thing working.
Oh well, back to the grind stone.
