I arrived in Portland on the same flight as Garrett Rooneg of SVN fame. I look quite a bit different than a year ago, and that's surprised some people. On my way up to speaker registration Ann Barcomb had a hard time with it. But then, there was a strange dude she's never seen before asking her how she's been (and he wasn't wearing a geek tee). Yeah, that guy was me. If you see me you may not know it. I'll try to introduce myself properly, again.
I went to see "Life of Brian" over food and drink with Schwern, dha, Theory and his bro, Ask and Mrs Ask, jnoble, and Mirod. First time seeing that movie. It was ... interesting.
I've unpacked and set my wakeup call. It's time for sleeping now. Tomorrow's schedule is full of Damian talks. I can only plan about 16 hours ahead right now, so I have no idea what the evening will hold.
