Yesterday was ultrasound day and I went to see how our next kid is growing. Seem like it's growing too much. Not an absurd amount, but at 32.8 weeks the thing weighs what it should at 35 weeks! This is not cause for alarm, except my wife doesn't care for the idea of pushing nine pounds out of her body, the expected weight at birth.
Evelina was very petite. She came in at 7.5 pounds, typical, but with very little baby fat. In short, she didn't look water logged. I bring this up because ever since I've been cracking jokes at water logged babies. I think I've cracked one too many, and as everything does, it's coming back on me. We might just have a water logged baby.
Even so, I can't wait to have a new one. Now if we could only agree on a name... http://caseywest.com/images/newspawn/
