Eric Griffith has a piece at Wi-Fi Planet (formerly 802.11 Planet) about Intel's Wireless Ride. A mobile wireless extravaganza. At first, the "Wireless Car Rig" was noted as probably being the first mobile hotspot but that is untrue. Doing my research I realized that I beat them by over a month! Now, the HighWLAN is mentioned, too. Neat.
