This is where I tell you if pair seems good for me. Short answer: heck yeah!
Longer answer follows. pair has some practices that I've always wanted in a company, but never found. Well, I've found some of them here and there, but not all at once. Here are a few examples.
Date: Wed, 16 Jul 2003 11:42:32 -0400 (EDT)
From: Kevin Martin (CEO)
To: pair staff list
Subject: [fluff] Donuts!
That's right, the owner brought warm donuts to work for everyone.
Just today was the monthly staff meeting. Everyone met in the parking lot where food was grilled and consumed and the agenda was fluid and fun. I actually liked a meeting, that's saying a lot.
Finally, tomorrow is staff outing day at Kennywood. I've always wanted staff outing days. A company that plays together, stays together.
So far, I am pleased. Granted, the grass is green when you think you've reached the other side. Stay tuned to find out if the grass is regularly watered over here.
