Some cool things about pair. They're the first company I've signed with that considered Open Source developers when writing the contract, I didn't have to change a thing. Every workstation is FreeBSD, every one. I don't get a mac, but they're replaced by insane bandwidth (even a CPAN mirorr right next door). The majority of developers are married, and two of us have children (three very shortly). Finally, from the projects that have been leaked to me, I've got some diverse and interesting things to tackle very soon.
Some cool things about OSCON. DynDNS has let me use the plane tickets (thanks Dyn!). Allison Randal (and house mates), and Andy Lester are helping me with a nice place to sleep each night (thanks guys!). I've even got an OSCON pass, and enough cash for some food. Life is good.
Some cool things about life. My pool is clean, and we are enjoying swimming daily. My wife and baby are quite happy in general (employment does that). I'm just happy in general.
