Spontaneous Work Theory

I've got a new theory on working. Well, in getting things done in general. Previous theory (and I gather, standard practice) has been to think of something to do, remember it, and do it later. Same goes for being told to do something. The problem is, when later comes the task isn't usually completed.

I've tried my own Spontaneous Work Theory. When I think of something to do, I do it. This has lead to more things getting done both quantitativley and qualitativley. Over 50% of the doc bugs for Perl 5 are now squashed, my lawn is mowed, and I've been completing work projects early in some cases. My email is responded to, and I go to bed fulfilled.

If you're finding yourself behind, give this theory a shot.
