I don't know about you, but I feel like a spectator in the world. All the important people are playing thier games, and I figure I should be no different. Thankfully, the rest of the Dyn team feels the same way and we now have our own War Game. We have an "office poll" for when we drop the first bombs. Sadly, it's being based on Baghdad local time, so my birthday is out since 48 hours ends at 4:00am on the 20th. I still believe that we will attack on the 19th in EST.
And finally, if you can't laugh at anything else today, laugh at me. For the third consecutive year I've got to OSCON with zero talks accepted. I should note that I don't think ORA is a terrible, Open Source using organization that houses crazy people who don't know squat about running a conference. Quite the opposite. They have their benchmarks and reasons, I'm just going to try harder next year. Muhahahah.
