These past few days with Damian in Lisbon were absolutely marvellous.
The feedback we got from his course was amazing, and it's really great to go to one of our clients and see a bunch of people holding the course manual and having discussions regarding the materials Damian presented.
The discussion is usually { those who attended the course } vs. { those who didn't }.
Those who attended apparently win the discussions, since they now have all the arguments :-)
The talk Damian gave on the last day, "Life, the Universe and Everything", was also fantastic. Over two hours of uncontrolled laughs.
The Lisbon.pm mailing list has now been more active than ever and, interestingly, the ratio { Perl stuff } vs. { off-topic stuff } is awesome.
We have to do more events like this one :-)
