I can't agree with that. I agree that 'Mostly Harmless' isn't a great book but, in my opinion, the best book in the H2G2 series is 'So Long And Thanks For All The Fish'. It's the only one that really reads like a novel rather than a loosely connected set of sketches.
Douglas Adams' best book tho' (without a doubt) is 'Last Chance To See'.

Well, it took me three months to read this book, while "Rendezvous with Rama" took only a couple of days...And I'll tell you... the bit of the book that I liked less was precisely the end
:-\ I think Douglas is a wonderful writer, but my favourite book in the series (trilogy) is the first one, followed right after by "The Restaurant at the end of the Universe".
