Some years ago, phoning in Portugal would mean you'd be using the services of the only operator in the country: Portugal Telecom (PT).
With the advent of mobile telecommunications, we saw Optimus, TMN (belonging to PT) and Vodafone rising.
Also, other operators joined the ranks of possibilities for fixed phones: Jazztell, Tele2, Oni, etc.
Now... suppose you want internet access... there's a wide range of possibilities... but they all but one have the same disadvantage... they use lines that don't belong to them, but to PT.
The operator that doesn't seem to have this disadvantage is Sapo (because it belongs to PT), but it isn't the cheapest one.
We're going to have Clix access at home...
What's the problem with this? The problem is that we're going to have to wait 6 to 8 weeks (if not more) for PT to install the lines... great... just great...
