And the trick is... to know how things work.
While still at my friend's house, I have to use two subway lines to get to work. The station where I (and everybody else, it seems) have to change trains is "Marquês de Pombal"; I have to go from the Blue to the Yellow line.
Here's how it works: people get out of the train in a group, walk up the stairs (I already know how to be on the right door of the train, so that I get be in front of the stairs when the train stops), go down the corridor, and miss the next train by some 10 to 15 seconds...
So that's me, the first person in the group, walking fast, almost running, gaining distance from them, smiling because I know I'll get to be the only one to catch the g*d*mn thing, while everybody else will just have to wait 5 to 7 more minutes and share a train with each other.
You should see me running up those stairs... :-)
Anyway, next week I shall be on my new home :-)
