I've closed a couple of dozen tickets in Parrot's RT in the past two weeks, and both Saturdays I ended up with swirling headaches and burning eyes. Tonight I figured out why, when I noticed myself increasing the font size in my browser in several tabs one after another -- the main body text is a couple of sizes too small.
The main CSS file sets the body text to 0.9 em, which is smaller than my default Thou Shalt Not Make Fonts On The Web Smaller Than This size, and I keep leaning closer to my monitor, squinting, and Ctrl-scrollwheeling to try to make things better.
I sent in a patch for the CSS.

I sent it to the Perlbug administration list, but I just forwarded the message to rt-devel as well.
Firefox: Edit → Preferences → Content → Fonts & Colours → Advanced… → Minimum font size

AFAIK, Opera and Firefox3 remember the Zoom setting for a site. For some extra settings in Firefox3 and to add this capability to Firefox2, you can also install the NoSquint extension.

I had that set, but I bumped it up another notch, and that helps.
Perhaps you need to get bifocals? Or maybe you just need to take more afternoon naps

Sounds like a greasemonkey script might be helpful here, you can pimp out RT and post the script for the rest of us. (my use of the word script here does not endorse or suggest that Perl is a scripting language in any way, shape, or form, some restrictions may apply, see your local Perl dealership for details)
