According to [Tim] Bray, Sun pursued the JRuby guys because the underlying (Ruby) technology is good and it has outstanding documentation, as well as a flagship Web framework in Rails.

Ruby has outstanding documentation? Hey Tim, as long as you're talking to us from the year 2016, can you share any stock tips or the final scores of any major sports upsets?

Ruby has documentation? I thought ri existed to make info look usable.

I highly recommend fri (FastRI) over ri. It actually, you know, works. Plus, it's fast. :)
