I wasn't able (due to a wrecked attempt to change my schedule at work and a few other things) to get to my internship the second week of it, so I emailed Les and told him that much.
He said it was okay, because he was pretty much going to be gone until the 14th anyway. NBD. But, hey...could I write something that would filter through the monitoring mailbox and somehow note threatening/profane language?
As strongly as I feel about censorship, I can almost rationalize this, and it's part of my totally mutable job description. He gave me one (1!) test message to work with; I'll probably multiply it a few times and fiddle with it so that it's a real test dataset. I've got until the 14th to make this thing notice filthy/threatening language, or at least make a reasonable attempt.
