Power failed two hours ago during a fairly lively lightning storm. (I got photos, because they always look so nice when they're happening, but I doubt I managed to catch anything interesting. I'll toss 'em into Photoshop when I get a few spare minutes and see if they're useless or not.)
I had the MySQL server going when the power died, and worried that something went horribly horribly wrong. Nope; booted back up and checked. All tables intact. (Had I been accessing it, perhaps it would have been a different story. Good thing power failures aren't all that common around here.)
