Enh. Forget it. Bad joke.
My irritation with linking a style sheet into my newly-stateful CGI application was trumped this morning when I checked the error logs over something else; Apache was still looking in /htdocs, where I had dumped the CSS in /cgi-bin, where everything else was. File moved, page served, CSS works.
I have the code, where my table-based layout exists, the CSS where my color-deficiency becomes obvious, and my CGI itself, where the rules of the thing are handled. I'm feeling nicely divided.
