I spent most of last night trying to make a little script that would, if it had a lookup table made, return cards and prices. If it had no lookup, it would try to make one if it had the cl**ster datafile; if it had no datafile, it would attempt to retrieve a recent one.
This morning, when I woke up, I had this in my mailbox, from my Perl instructor:
take it easy with your cloister fetching, bub. you managed to fill up the error log on the server and make apache quit for some reason.Sigh. I'm a doof; cranking through a half-meg datafile for test work isn't very smart of me. I made a headache for someone, who apparently made a headache for the instructor. I asked him -- jokingly -- some time back what Hostess/Little Debbie snacks he wanted should a smoothing-over be necessary...what did he say?
Quick Addendum: I remember now -- Funny Bones. I'll have to pick him up a box as a "sorry I crashed Apache" gift. (I'm surprised that Hallmark doesn't have an appropriate card, though. :\ )
