Job: Currently attempting to fire some shots in the dark as well as a few on-target hits; that is, I'm applying "Parachute" techniques to a few jobs I might be able to do but have no formal qualifications for, and I'm also applying locally for a few jobs that I believe I could get in my sleep. When faced with the choice of security or freedom, I learn to hedge my bets. ;)
Data Transfer: Some inquiries with both web resources and human resources ("I know a guy") have led me to believe that I can make the data transfer to the Linux un-partition just by mounting, just like it was a regular partition. Heidy-ho, off to try I go.
Class: Lucky me, the new assignment got posted. Without looking at the exercises yet, I'm just going to guess that it will all, combined, take me less than two hours.
