Okay. Things needing backups have been backed up. I have coffee brewing. I have several bottles of Dew in the fridge.
I am ready to format my hard drive and begin anew, installing dual OSs.
There's the faint chance that the drive's problem will prevent me from installing anything back on it, but I doubt it. Just in case, though, the backups will let me continue working. A clean install of AS Perl, Cygwin, and AS Perl with some modules installed. Ready to rock.
