Also, despite my best efforts, I'm starting to liks reading through Slashdot. Mostly the headlines and everything +4 or so, but still...
Now, *if* you donate a computer with an MS operating system, you've effectively sacrificed your license and can't legally keep a copy around for yourself. Other than that, they are way off base. Of course, who knows with the new XP licensing.
On the other hand, *most* schools (K1-12) will want to run MS Windows anyway, simply because of software compatibility issues.
