Class Cancellation

My morning class was canceled today; as a result, I'm attempting to research NLP languages.

  • Prolog
  • LISP/CLISP (Common LISP)
  • Yacc
  • Bison
  • Mercury (check Mother website http://mother.sourceforge.net,in Resources, for URL to Mercury and Mozart)
  • Mozart-Oz
  • Any other Logic programming languages, especially suited towards NLP)

The tough bit is trying to find realistic rundowns of pros and cons in each language, and fighting off the urge I have to add Perl to the list out-of-hand. (As much as I'd love to add it, I don't think it's necessarily the only tool suited to this job, and I'm not sure it's what the group is looking for.)
