Speeding: I've gone way too fast through _Man-Month_, because I just finished it yesterday. I need to go through it with a notebook handy and just take notes. I could spend a week with that book (and, coincedentally, I have another week's vacation from school coming up soonish). Looked over the Markov chain program in Perl (from _Practice Of Programming_) and haven't found a way to fix it yet. Suspect that this is mostly my inexperience, but I'll keep at it.
Car: Just found out my tailpipe is gone. Realized also that the muffler is half hanging down. I'm getting that (and, finally, the driver's side inside door handle! Hallellujah) fixed later this week.
