JavaScript El Duncio

My knowledge of JavaScript is like my knowledge of German -- I can read it fairly fluently, but writing it is uphill all the way. (I have the reverse problem with Perl, so between the two, I can code. *rim shot*)

So I spoke to myself -- as I am wont to do from time to time -- and I was angry. "Greg," I said in an accusing tone, "you've got Safari. The fact you left your JavaScript pocket guide at home should not be preventing you from writing this code."

I was chastised, and I knew it. I surfed quickly to my bookshelf and started looking for a book to remove so I could drop in a title I'd heard about recently.

Lo and behold, I had the JavaScript Cookbook in there.

I felt sheepish, but it was nice to know that I'd planned for just this situation -- sort of.
