I actually have something perl-related for this entry! Yay! I was at the Monastery when rob_au mentioned something called CGI::Application.
I seem to remember someone else mentioning it to me, many moons ago, here, but I can't remember who or when or if. No offense intended; we all find things at our own pace, and I wasn't ready then, I suspect.Tentatively, it looks like something that would've made this little project *much* easier. However, it's object oriented, and I'm not. (Yet.)
So I'll probably finish up in my clunky fashion and rewrite the thing once I know more about OO. I don't get it yet.
Quick Addendum: I managed to forget to call the VA person, so I'll be a few more days late on this stupid benefits thing. Wouldn't suck so bad if I had a paying job. (Me and half the world, seems like.)
