Okay.
DSL has lots of niceties, and I'm sure I will discover all the wonders of a broadband connection in the time I have it. And that's very, very nice.
In order to motivate myself to discover said things, though, I need, need, need to get at least one fucking game working.
Now, I say it again, in Star-Trek-Search-For-Spock-Scotty voice: "Com-pu-ter...oh, com-PU-ter..." so as to beseech one lousy game to just fucking work, but no dice. Rarrgh.
So I'm retiring for the evening. I'm not done with this fight just yet, but I'm definately ready to sit down for a damn minute and catch my breath.
