Tom Christansen (co-author of the perl cookbook) exists in a parallel internet to the rest of us - an internet that's text only , with multiple perl scripts delivering information to him in pure text only format.I have to admit, there's a part of my brain that feels this concept oozes sexiness -- PURE TEXT, it screams at me.
Another part, though, keeps talking to me very calmly about graphic file formats, and slick CSS tricks. It has all the calm rationality of a well-dosed heroin addict explaining how to steal needles from a doctor's office.
Also, I believe it's 'Christiansen'.
