I have finally gotten a GMail account, and I didn't even have to pay someone. Sweet.

I love the interface, I love the results, and while it's irritating that it doesn't always thread properly, it does a much better job than I would sometimes. Kudos to the Google bunch.

On a completely unrelated note, I can't SSH into perlmonk.org any more, but I'm not sure if SSH is having problems or if I did something stupid and got blocked...

I hate to say it, but what GMail's contact system needs, IMHO, is Orkut -- integrating the two lightly should be possible (even if it's just some form of export system, that would be nice) and integrating tightly should be possible.

I'll probably check later about logging in. Good to know it's not just me, though. :)

FWIW - I'm still having the same problem i.e chokes on my password. I've sent Chris (jcwren) a quick email about it.
