I was getting an error despite using YAML methods just as indicated in the POD. Turns out the method I was using -- StoreFile -- doesn't actually exist. The one I should be using, DumpFile, is mentioned nowhere in the POD.
Admittedly, a small thing. I'd never used the YAML module before, so I didn't know if I was somehow using it wrong (and indeed, there were several errors on my part that got fixed before I found out about the method name). I'm just glad it works as outlined, etc. Likey the YAML.
Tomorrow's my day off (today was my day off too, but Sundays are typically spent with R in pursuit of liberty from uncleanliness, so I use Monday for the pursuit of happiness) so I'll fart around more with the problems I was having.
