Asked by a friend, I am attempting to write a logfile analyzer, just something quick that gives them the amount of time individual chatters have been in a specific room.
I started it a long while back, but never quite got it to work and ended up doing other stuff (like NaNoWriMo). I got very frustrated with the logfile format, and find myself getting frustrated again -- inconsistent doesn't really cover what wackiness fills these files. Nothing ever seems to stay the same except the IP and the format of the time, although that should be enough anyway.
I hope to get it done today, despite needing to do laundry and various other cleaning-related things today.
