Okay, scratch that. After s/Program Files//, I got another error, this one about being unable to locate the logs; it occurs to me, suddenly, that *I'm going to have to search/replace every single instance in all the different configure files*.
I located my installer for Apache. Installed. Clean. Took a total of five minutes.
Now, the real fun: Retyping all the code, some 500 lines, because although I'm an utter packrat, although I kept copies of things I haven't touched since before I got this computer...somehow I managed to not keep a copy of my most recent code.
Almost enough to make a person reach for another piece of chocolate raspberry. Actually...don't mind if I do. :)
That and some coffee.
I remember, from the corners of my mind, that I once read the following somewhere: "Mathematicians are machines: You put coffee in, and proofs come out."
Oh, and I've been reading the _Tao Of Programming_, because I printed a copy and I'm no longer willing to leave the house. (I live on a fairly busy street to begin with, but when you add snow and Cashmas traffic, it's as deadly as Drano Kool-Aid.)
