In signing up for my Google Account, I noticed Google Answers.

Anybody else have any experience using this service? I'm curious, as one of the main characters in my novel works as a researcher, doing what I imagine to be roughly the same work, and I didn't know such a thing actually existed.

I haven't seen it but

Accidentaly stumbled upon it from the google calculator, as I was trying to find out The airspeed of an unladen swallow Since then, its dropped down the list some what unfortunately.

I couldn't help but think that the idea of google answers was ideally suited to a birthday/christmas card enlay - you could give the answer to any question the recipient wanted, given a clever enough key generator.

But unfortunately, I haven't as of yet tested there service, but when I need some research for an essay, given the cash, it seems like a vauable tool.

Pleasing

Yeah, I've used it to find out some things I had no desire to research myself, like where Native Americans fitted into US segregation rules. Was really useful, pleased with the results...

Hm.

I actually have need of a bit of research (windmills, believe it or not) so maybe I'll give it a shot.
