To your email backups, such as they are, to recover the emails deleted by a bug in MS Entourage. So if I haven't responded to your email, you might want to send it again. Their corrective measures and workarounds on this one are actually pretty funny. It includes "Stop using Entourage 2004 immediately." After this event, I think I will. :-)

I don't normally bash Macs or Mac users. Really. My experience with Macs has all been pleasant. I just couldn't help myself. PCs get all the abuse but Macs seem to have just as many problems.

There is no question that when it comes to MS Exchange, Macs are a poor step-child. They've touted the great interoperability of Entourage, but I've been underwhelmed ever since it came out. It is really a shame because Outlook for the Mac on OS 9 was actually an excellent app.
The kicker is that I use Thunderbird for all of my email. I only open Entourage to sync my calendar.
