After going over the bids and voting, the TPF Conference Committee has selected Chicago to host YAPC 2006. Look for a more official announcement soon.
All of the bids this year were excellent. We owe special thanks to all three groups for pulling together bids to make sure we had a YAPC::NA next summer. Things went a little beyond the original deadline, but now we're back on track.
Also, many thanks to the Conference Committee for taking time to read the bids, discuss, and vote.
