The Perl Foundation Conference Committee members are currently reading over the bid submissions and marking their tally cards. We use various weighted criteria in the first phase of the selection process to get an objective number. Then, if necessary, we talk over other subjective impressions. Once we have consensus, we pick the winner and move on from there.
Right now, we're in phase one. I hope to have all the votes in by the end of the this weekend. Then we'll discuss and try to work toward a decision by next weekend.
