Holiday was nice---wake up, throw a handful of peanuts on the deck, and watch all the pretty birds come by. During the day, walk down to the shore and tide pool (found a 9 inch soft shell chiton!). At night, take out the telescope and look at the universe, especially Jupiter and its moons (the image that started the heliocentricity hub-bub).
Being back home is nicer---cable modem with wireless instead of 26k spotty modem shared among 5 people, more than one movie theater, and usable mass transit. I now have my AppleScript and Ruby books close by because I am pretty much useless in those languages without them.
