Small books

Alberto Simöes sent me an A5 book of the latest issue (postscript) of The Perl Review that he created with a Perl tool called smallbook (tar archive). You should remember him from his Perl and flex article in issue 3.

Of course, I cannot print it properly because I live in a nation that sometimes thumbs its nose at things that the rest of the world does (in this case, proper paper size). I think it looks nice on the screen though.

If you have a duplex A5 printer, you can print TPR with four folios per sheet, stack them, fold in the center and Bob's your uncle. Pretty nifty.

To make this even better, I can rejigger the margins for odd and even pages so the gutter does not look funny.

I would be happy to include a PDF version if someone with a non-US setup and ps2pdf sends it to me, or tells me the secret command line option to do it myself. The ps2pdf docs are a bit lean.

If someone wants to make a US Letter smallbook version too, well, that is nice too.
