The Schwartz Factor hit an impressive 0.1742 this weekend after an initial scare that a purge right after its announcement would only be a spike.
A couple of people reminded me that Andreas is keeping everything ever on CPAN in the BackPAN---sort of a CPAN without the ability to delete old files. This means that authors do not need to keep lots of old versions in their real CPAN directories, and that most everyone can help keep CPAN lean and mean by deleting cruft. Let's make CPAN fit on a CD again!
