Learning Perl, 5th Edition is here. I got five copies of it today, and apparently everyone lined up outside Amazon.com so now they are out-of-stock too. Luckily Learning Perl came out a week before the iPhone otherwise people might be too busy to buy books.
Since I seem to have more copies than Amazon.com, I'll give one away before OSCON to someone who shows me that they want it the most. Use the criteria for my recent OSCON pass give-away (won by Chris Dawson who took the time to make a video with his webcam). Although Learning Perl isn't as costly as the OSCON registration, I'm still most impressed by people who are somehow clever in their attempt to convince me. This time, I might be partial to people trying to win the book to give as a gift. :)
I'll get it signed by all of the authors and ship it for free to anywhere the US Postal Service will send mail. I can probably stuff a couple issues of The Perl Review in there too.
